We encourage all parents to read our privacy policy to fully understand our practice regarding the information we collect from you during registration. We require consent from a parent when a child wants to register. As described in this Privacy Policy, we will directly collect information from a child wants to acquire our paid membership for sake of buying virtual goods or trading and swapping toys and games, we may collect additional personally identifiable information from the registrant's parent. The types of information that may be collected at that time include the parent's full name, email address, and credit card (or other payment method) billing information including mailing address. Skidekids does not condition a child's participation in an online activity on the child providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for that activity.

- When we delete your account, all the information provided to us during registration is automatically erased from our system, we do not keep back log of this data.

Registration process
When a user initiates to enter our site, we will ask for the following
- Skiddy name
- Password
- Parents email address
We will send a notification email to obtain permission and advice parents that their child is attempting to use our site. If the parent gives us permission by clicking on the provided activation link, the child’s account will then be active.
Why we may collect PI and need parent’s email address
- In order to create an online network for your children, we may need to collect some personal identifiable information from Parents to set up their children's accounts. This information includes users name, password, date of birth and email. We use the email to notify Parents about their children’s activities.
- We use email to send updates about our services.
- We use email to ask parents for feedback.
- We use email to send information to Parents about products and information that we think will be of interest. Parents can ask not to receive promotional emails at any time, and we will stop sending them email.
Parents have control over children’s information.
A child's participation in any of our activity or contest is not conditional upon him/her providing more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary for that activity.
At any time, Parents may view the kids account Settings at “edit my profile” to see the Personal Information we have collected.
They can change this information at any time.
They can have the account deleted by sending message to delete@skidekids.com or request to support@skidekids.com
. When we delete a Parent or child account as described above, all of the information associated with those accounts will be permanently deleted from the skidekids database, we do not keep back log for this data
BLOG
The Skid-e-kids blog page is publicly accessible from the homepage and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children on the blog.
Information handling in communication and content features
Skidekids uses safe communication mechanisms. The kids are allowed to send messages to one another through the profile message system. They are not allowed to exchange personal information , or use inappropriate languages.
We have “white list” filters in place to capture keywords; although the filters are not guaranteed to remove all inappropriate content prior to posting. However, our Moderators still personally review all contents after it has been posted, and they can remove the inappropriate submissions that are not removed by filters.
The filters are also designed to send enhanced phrases to our moderator
Members can also post videos and pictures to their profiles. This posting are also screened by our moderators for appropriateness...
Inviting friends via email
Parents: If you choose to use our email invitation service to tell friends about our site, we will ask for these friends’ email addresses. Upon your request, we will send these friends a one-time email inviting them to visit the site and, where appropriate, join the neighborhood of which you are part.
Skidekids stores this information only for the purpose of sending this one-time email, tracking the success of our referral program, and making it easy for you to re-invite friends who have not accepted invitations. If you have invited friends to your Skidekids network, you will be notified when they join so you can add them to your Skidekids friends list.
About their use of the information collected.
Data retention
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you request to delete your account, all the information provided to us during registration will automatically be erased from our system. We do not keep any back log of this Data.
Security
Skidekids has implemented commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the Personal Information, including sensitive data such as credit card information used for virtual goods or other purchases.. None of your financial records are made available to us. Although we take certain security measures to protect your privacy, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Please keep in mind that we cannot and do not guarantee that content you post in Skidekids will not be viewed by unauthorized persons and that you post content in Skidekids at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained in Skidekids
Business transactions
In the event Skidekids, Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days if a change in ownership or control is likely to materially affect the way Personal Information about our users will be handled.
Feedback information
Skidekids may from time to time ask you to provide information on your Skidekids experiences, which will be used to measure and improve quality. You are at no time obliged to provide such information .skidekids reserves the right to use anonym zed information that does not identify you personally for marketing purposes, for instance by displaying selected comments without a user's identity on the Skidekids website or in communications from the skidekids team.
Applicable law
We control and operate Skidekids from the United States and subject exclusively to the laws and jurisdiction of the United States. Please note that we do not represent or warrant that Skidekids is appropriate for use in any particular jurisdiction. Those who choose to access Skidekids do so at their own initiative and are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules and regulations.
Modifications of the privacy policy
Skidekids reserves the right to modify its privacy policy at any time and will notify you by posting any such changes in a revised privacy policy on the website. Such modifications will become effective on the day they are posted as noted in the policy. Skidekids encourages you to frequently review the privacy policy for any modifications. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
If we make material changes as to how we use Personal Information collected from Parents and children, we will notify Parents by email in order to obtain verifiable Parental consent for the new uses of the child's Personal Information.
